Doreen Happatz

My exciting journey began in the dynamic communications industry, where I was able to make a lasting impact at prestigious companies such as the Financial Times Deutschland, Intergraph and Aperto. These stations have sharpened my eye for different industries and cultures. After an intensive phase in the fashion industry and a period of self-reflection in Canada, I found my true calling in recruiting.  

I started as a recruiting consultant in London and was able to successfully fill management positions in the fashion industry. Later at adidas, I managed global recruitment projects and developed innovative talent acquisition strategies. I am particularly proud of the development of the MakerLab and the successful recruitment of 50 technical experts worldwide in just six months, for which I received the Talent Acquisition Award ‘Creator of the Year’.  

I found my next challenge at Zalando, where I specifically recruited managers for the commercial sector. At Tesla, I set up a recruitment team for the DACH region and implemented tailored programmes such as the Military Transition Programme and retraining initiatives in accordance with the Qualification Opportunities Act.
